When downloading
by parts of 1 big file, how would you know if it has a good quality
[like for example: MOVIE]. Example, you want to download a movie but it
has 10 parts or .rar file. What if you are done downloading them, but
it doesn't have a good quality, or the file inside of that rar file is
not what you are expecting. So you have just wasted time and you lose
your excitement. Ok, I'll teach you how to open the first part of the
file to check it it contains the file that you are expecting and has a
good quality [for the movies].
Winrar is a product that is used to compress/decompress and archive files.
Let's say you are downloading 10 parts of a 1 big file which is a
movie, when you already have downloaded the first part of the rar file,
here's what we're going to do.
1. Double Left Click the rar file, the part1.rar
2. Click
Extract to button (See image below)
Click image to see in FULL size
after clicking extract, a new window will pop up
3. Choose where you want to extract the file, I recommend to extract it on desktop so it can be seen easily.
4. Click
keep broken files and Click OK (See image below)
It will extract the file now, but along the process, you will encounter this (See image below)
5. Click Cancel
Another window will pop again, just ignore it, click close(See image below)
The first part of the rar file had already been extracted. Take a
look at the folder where you have extracted the file, in my case I
extracted it on desktop so I'll go take a look on my desktop.
Double click on the file that you have just extracted, see if the
quality is good and/or it contains the real file I'm expecting.
Actually, this is a feature of the program. Winrar had made this
way, BUT most of computer users doesn't even know that they can extract
the first part of the file. So I'm sharing this one.
