Steps in activating you GLOBE GPRS


STEP1 - adding a new modem connection
1.) tap START
2.) tap Settings
3.) tap Connection
4.) Choose Connections
5.) Under Globe WAP Settings, tap "Add new modem connection"
6.) Enter a name for connection ( eg. myglobe GPRS)
7.) tap dropddown list and choose Cellular line(GPRS) click NEXT
8.) Access point is www.globe.com.ph Click NEXT
9.) leave everything blank tap Finish


Step2 - Setting up the PROXY

1.) tap START
2.) tap Settings
3.) tap Connection
4.) Choose Connections
5.) Under Globe WAP Settings, tap "Manage Existing Conenction"
6.) Choose the connection you just created
7.) Tap the TAB "Proxy Settings" tab below the screen.
8.) Click 'ADVANCED'
9.) Cut the IP address(203.177.42.214) on the WAP part and paste it to the HTTP part. Port should be 8080
10.) tap 'OK' twice
